Independent mobile game studio
Tropostrata
We build minimalist, physics-based arcade games for iOS — the kind you learn in one tap and keep coming back to. Layer by layer, one game at a time.
A small studio with a single obsession: games that feel good in one tap.
Tropostrata is an independent mobile game studio based in Georgia. We design and develop original arcade games built on simple, tactile mechanics — a single input, real physics underneath, and a difficulty curve that respects your time.
Every title we make starts as a playable prototype. If a game isn’t fun in the first thirty seconds, it doesn’t ship. We handle the full lifecycle in house: concept, design, development, and release on the App Store and Google Play, with ongoing updates after launch.
We’re a young studio building in the open. The titles below are in active development, and we’ll be bringing them to iOS first.
In development
Four arcade games in progress, each built around a single mechanic taken as far as it will go.
Pendulum In dev
Time your release and swing from anchor to anchor. One tap, all momentum — let go too early or too late and gravity takes the rest.
Contrail In dev
Carve a vapor trail through tightening gaps at speed. Pure reflex, no clutter — how far can you hold the line?
Orbit Guard In dev
Rotate a shield around your planet and deflect what falls from the dark. Stay calm as the sky gets crowded.
Ricochet In dev
Bank a single shot off every wall to reach the target. A bite-size puzzle that rewards the perfect angle.
How we build
One tap, no manual
If a game needs a tutorial, the design isn’t finished. We strip every title down to a single, obvious input you understand instantly.
Physics you can feel
Momentum, gravity, and timing do the heavy lifting. Real simulation underneath is what makes a simple game worth replaying.
Small, careful releases
We’d rather ship one polished game than ten rushed ones, and we support each title with updates well after launch.
Let’s talk.
